Why Bodywork: Simply put, bodywork is a celebration of everything that is important to me: health, human connection, and following the research in a constantly changing field.   I have always had a desire to work in healthcare but the other modalities I sought after didn’t feel genuine to me. Bodywork gives space and time to understand the entire client, to work towards resolving the causes of dysfunction, and educating  clients to more fully understand their bodies and what changes we can strive for. Most importantly, bodywork has made vital changes in my own body, and I want to help everybody connect with theirs and feel the value of this work.

Growing up: Long Island, New York.

Education:

Conservation Biology, College of Environmental Science and Forestry

      Nutrition, Bastyr University

Massage Therapy, Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts

Hobbies: All things outside! Skiing, open water swimming, hiking/backpacking, volleyball, bike riding. I also spend a lot of time cooking (and eating), trying to garden, and dancing.

Goals: I am currently training to ride in RSVP in 2024. My biggest dream is to qualify for the SwimRun World Championships but that is at least a few years away. Professionally, my goals are to become a certified personal trainer and to find a way to make bodywork accessible for everyone.
